Evan Giltaire Awarded the Pirelli Racelience Award for Paul Ricard Performances

The stars of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine continue to shine on Pirelli’s red carpet, which this year introduced the Racelience Award that recognizes drivers who demonstrate exceptional resilience and improvement during races. Points are awarded based on the difference between a driver’s starting grid position and their finishing position, rewarding those who make the most significant progress. This award highlights the drivers’ determination and their ability to overcome on-track challenges. At the end of the season, the driver with the highest score will be awarded the prestigious Pirelli Wheel, honoring their remarkable achievements and perseverance.

This time, the prestigious trophy was awarded to rookie Evan Giltaire (ART Grand Prix), who delivered an outstanding performance at the Paul Ricard round, gaining three positions in Race 1 and an impressive 14 positions in Race 2. Starting from 18th on the grid, he crossed the finish line in fourth place, just shy of the podium.

Now all eyes are on Imola to find out who will be the next driver to lift the coveted Pirelli trophy. Currently, Giovanni Maschio from team RPM leads the standings.
