Nicola Lacorte, a driver for Trident and part of the Alpine Academy, made a significant impact at Imola by earning the prestigious Racelience Award for the second time this year. Lacorte demonstrated exceptional skill by climbing five positions in Race 1 and an impressive twelve positions in Race 2, which allowed him to put his name on the seventh trophy awarded this season.
At the top of the standings, the battle is intense, with Lacorte and Marta Garcia (Iron Dames) tied for first place with 65 points each, followed by Giovanni Maschio (RPM) in third with 63 points. The top five is completed by Ruiqi Liu (Trident) with 57 points and Romain Andriolo (G4 Racing) with 44 points. The competition remains fierce as drivers continue to strive for excellence in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

The Racelience Award, created by Pirelli, recognizes drivers who exhibit exceptional resilience and improvement during races. Points are awarded based on the difference between a driver’s starting grid position and their finishing position, rewarding those who advance the most. This award highlights the drivers’ determination and ability to overcome challenges on the track. At the end of the season, the driver with the highest score will receive the prestigious Pirelli Wheel, celebrating their remarkable achievements and perseverance.
