R-ace GP announced that Akshay Bohra will join its driver lineup for the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA). The talented young Indian driver steps up to the highly competitive FRECA series following a steady rise through the junior single-seater ranks.

Bhora’s single-seater career began in 2022, when he made his Formula 4 debut in the Italian F4 Championship with US Racing during the final round at Mugello. Building on this experience, he embarked on a full campaign in 2023, competing in Formula 4 UAE, Formula 4 Italy, the Formula Winter Series, Euro 4, and Formula 4 Spain. In 2024, Bohra continued to impress in his second season in the Italian Formula 4 Championship, emerging as a title contender. While he finished runner-up in the Italian series, he clinched the Euro 4 championship title, demonstrating his consistency and growth as a driver.

His strong performances and ability to adapt quickly earned him a seat with R-ace GP for the 2025 FRECA season, a crucial step in his development as he moves closer to the top levels of motorsport.
