Nikita Bedrin leads the way in second Collective Test session at Misano

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine concluded its opening day of track activity at Misano with the second 50-minute Collective Test session. Representing the French outfit Saintéloc Racing, Nikita Bedrin set the pace with a best time of 1’29.678, leading a tightly contested field under perfect track conditions.

Rashid Al Dhaheri (Prema Racing) was second fastest, just 0.087s adrift, followed by Matteo De Palo (Trident) in third. Freddie Slater (Prema Racing) and Evan Giltaire (ART Grand Prix) rounded out the top five, separated by less than two tenths from the top. Giltaire, who had topped the morning session, remained the fastest overall across both tests with his earlier benchmark of 1’29.655.

Taito Kato (ART Grand Prix) followed closely in sixth, ahead of Hiyu Yamakoshi (Van Amersfoort Racing), Enzo Deligny (R-ace GP), Pedro Clerot (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Jin Nakamura (R-ace GP), who completed the top ten.

Track action resumes tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. (local time) with the first qualifying session of the 2025 season. The session will be streamed live on the official YouTube channel of the championship and broadcast by several partner networks, including ACI Sport TV.
