Brazilian driver Pedro Clerot (Van Amersfoort Racing) topped the times in the first Collective Test of the final round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine at Monza. On a damp “Temple of Speed”, Clerot set the benchmark with a 1:47.682, edging out Nikita Bedrin (Saintéloc Racing) by 0.331 seconds, with Taito Kato (ART Grand Prix) completing the top three, 0.629 seconds behind.
Rashid Al Dhaheri (Prema Racing) and Matteo De Palo (Trident Motorsport) rounded out the top five. De Palo remains fully in contention for the title, battling against Freddie Slater, who ended the session in eighth position. The British driver currently leads the overall standings by four points, making this Monza finale decisive for the 2025 crown.
The third title contender, Enzo Deligny (R-ace GP), who impressed yesterday in wet conditions during the opening test of the weekend, finished this morning’s session in sixteenth place.
Also within the top ten were Evan Giltare (ART Grand Prix, sixth), Giovanni Maschio (RPM, seventh), Jack Beeton (Prema Racing, ninth), and Tomass Štolcermanis (RPM, tenth).
The second Collective Test of the day will take place at 12:05, again lasting 50 minutes, providing teams and drivers with another key opportunity to prepare for qualifying and the two races that will bring the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season to a close.
