Frenchman Evan Giltare emerged fastest in the second Collective Test at Monza, stopping the clock at 1:43.653 on a fully dry track. The ART Grand Prix driver, fresh from returning to the podium at Hockenheim, continued his strong form by claiming the best time of the day ahead of the crucial final race weekend of the year.
Giltare led the session by 0.197 seconds over Freddie Slater (Prema Racing), while Taito Kato (ART Grand Prix) completed the top three, only 0.362 seconds adrift.
Close behind came Rashid Al Dhaheri (Prema Racing) in fourth and Matteo De Palo (Trident Motorsport) in fifth, both maintaining strong momentum in view of the final weekend of the season.
Pedro Clerot (Van Amersfoort Racing) continued his consistent form in sixth, followed by Akshay Bohra (R-ace GP) in seventh and Nikita Bedrin (Saintéloc Racing) in eighth. Jan Przyrowski (RPM) was ninth, with Enzo Deligny (R-ace GP) rounding out the top ten. The French driver still among the contenders for the Drivers’ title.
The Teams’ Championship also remains wide open, with R-ace GP currently leading and Prema Racing close behind as both aim to end the season on a high note.
The first qualifying session will take place tomorrow at 8:30 a.m., live on ACI Sport TV (Sky channel 228) and on the official Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine YouTube channel.
