Rosso will go into his second full season in motor racing on the back of a successful year in Italian F4 that saw him take three wins, five podiums, and two pole positions. Having shown the speed to win at F4 level, Rosso is now ready to race in the newly formed European series.

“I’m really excited to take part in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine with FA Racing this season”, said Rosso. “It’s a great step in my career as well as a big opportunity given me by the team. I’m sure that with hard work, consistency and dedication we can achieve great results. I’m really looking forward to the start of the season that will kick off next week at Imola for the official test days. I’d like to thank from the heart all the people who made this possible, in particular my family, sponsors, and management.”

“It’s wonderful to have Andrea in the team with us for 2021”, says FA Racing’s Paul Anthony. “He has proved extremely quick in Italian F4, and I’m sure he will seamlessly translate that speed to the Formula Regional car. He is a sensational first addition to our 2021 team, and I’m very much looking forward to working with him.”

Rosso had a bright career in karting, which started with winning the 2014 Trofeo Nazionale in 60cc Easykarts and third in the category’s Grand Finals. Moving up to OK-Junior karts, Rosso took third in the Italian championship in 2016 before winning the WSK Super Master Series in the following year. At OK level in 2018, Rosso repeated his Trofeo Andrea Margutti win that he has already won in OK Juniors in 2017, before 2019 saw him combine part seasons in karts and Italian F4. At the 2019 FIA Motorsport Games, Rosso went on to win the F4 Cup.
