English rising star set to contest Europe’s premier single-seater series with Banbury team.

Arden Motorsport have confirmed English rising star Tom Lebbon will complete the team’s line up for the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.
The 17-year-old from Bury St Edmunds, joins the Banbury-based team for his first full season effort in Europe’s premier single seater competition.
Lebbon, who has spent the early part of his career successfully competing in the UK, winning the Ginetta Junior championship and winning 4 races on his way to finishing 3rd in the 2022 GB3 Championship.
More recently, Lebbon has prepared for the upcoming season by putting together a strong winter test programme with the Banbury based squad.
He joins the already-announced Joshua Dürksen and Levente Révész at Arden.

He’s got a good track record, having gained valuable experience in the GB3 Championship over the past 2 seasons and we’ve been impressed with his speed and race craft to date. Together with Joshua and Levente, we should have a strong setup ready to attack the season ahead.”
Tom Lebbon:
“It’s great to be given the opportunity to race for the English outfit and I feel they are best fitting for me after a constructive winter test programme. I’ve been working hard over the off season and I’m well prepared to start the season on the front foot. I cannot wait to get back in the car for the first test in Barcelona.”
The 2023 season is due to start with the first official test taking place at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on March 17th – 18th and the first race weekend at the Imola circuit on the weekend of the 22nd 23rd April.
