The second official Pre-Season Collective Test of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine came to a close this afternoon at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, with Pedro Clerot (Van Amersfoort Racing) topping the timesheets in the final session of the two-day event.
In ideal conditions, the Brazilian set the pace in the closing stages with a fastest time of 1:28.786, the quickest of the afternoon, underlining his excellent form. Hiyu Yamakoshi (VAR) and Giovanni Maschio (RPM) completed the top five, both finishing within seven tenths of a second from the front. Behind them, the trio of Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi, Ruiqi Liu (both Trident), and Freddie Slater (Prema Racing) ran closely together in sixth, seventh and eighth respectively.
