Enzo Peugeot claims Zandvoort Pirelli Rising Car Award

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine paddock once again celebrated resilience and determination as Enzo Peugeot secured the Pirelli Rising Car Award at Zandvoort. This marks the second time this season that the French driver has claimed the honour, following his success at the opening round in Misano.

Driving for RPM, Peugeot delivered another standout performance in the Dutch round. Across the two races at Zandvoort, he gained a remarkable total of fifteen positions—climbing eight places in Race 1 and seven more in Race 2. His ability to recover through the field underlined the spirit of progress and competitive spirit that the Rising Car Award was created to recognise.

Thanks to this result, Peugeot now leads the Pirelli Rising Car Award standings with 26 points, extending his advantage over his closest rivals. Nikita Bedrin follows in second place on 22 points, ahead of Evan Giltaire with 19. Ruiqi Liu holds fourth in the table with 17 points, while Hiyu Yamakoshi rounds out the current top five on 16 points.

The Rising Car Award, promoted by Pirelli, is presented at every round to the driver who gains the most positions between the starting grid and the chequered flag across the race weekend. At season’s end, the driver topping the cumulative standings will receive the prestigious Pirelli Wheel in recognition of their perseverance and racecraft.
