Hadrien David sets the pace in collective test 1 at Spa

Hadrien David topped the first collective test at Spa Francorchamps, leaving the rest of the field more than two tenths behind.

The R-ace GP standard bearer, at the wheel of car number 26, achieved two victories and a second place that allowed him to collect 129 points and fourth place in the overall standings. David was 0.260s clear of ART Grand Prix’s Gabriele Minì, who topped the morning test, with the French’s teammate Lorenzo Fluxa third and 0.523s further back.

Joshua Durksen (Arden Motorsport) was the fastest rookie and took fourth place ahead Tim Tramnitz (Trident Motorsport), Kas Haverkort (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Sebastian Montoya (Prema Racing).

Leonardo Fornaroli (Trident Motorsport) and Paul Aron (Prema Racing) were separated by just 0.019s in eighth and ninth, with Noel Leon completing the top-10 for Arden Motorsport.

Esteban Masson‘s run off the track caused the marshals to wave the red flag and stop the session with about five minutes to go.

The field will be back in action again tomorrow morning for the second collective test scheduled at 12.30.
