Jett Bowling joins G4 Racing for FRECA season finale

Jett Bowling is ready to make his debut in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine with G4 Racing for the final two rounds of the 2024 season. The Texas-born driver brings with him experience from Formula Regional Americas, making this his first venture into European racing.

The 18-year-old talent from Dallas, Texas, has built an impressive résumé, progressing through the ranks of karting and the highly competitive F4 United States Championship before making his mark in the Formula Regional Americas Championship. Now, as he steps up to FRECA, Bowling will face a new challenge, embarking on his first European racing experience.

Bowling, who will be driving the #33 car, shared his excitement for the new chapter in his career: “Words can’t describe my excitement to race in FRECA. I’m delighted to partner with G4 Racing; I know I’ll be in good hands. It’ll be a world of firsts for me, with push to pass, new tracks, and I’ve never even been to Europe before. I’m blessed to have this opportunity and I’m ready to show what I can do while getting an experience of a lifetime.”

With Bowling’s debut set for the upcoming FRECA rounds, the team is optimistic about his adaptability. His previous experience in the Formula Regional Americas Championship provides a strong foundation, although the FRECA series brings its own set of challenges. G4 Racing’s Sporting and Technical Manager, Adrián Muñoz, commented on Bowling’s arrival: “Joining the FRECA championship during the season is never an easy task, but we believe Jett will adapt quickly to the new environment. Coming from FR Americas gives him a solid foundation, even though the car, tracks, and tires will be new to him. His performance in America gives us confidence that he has a strong baseline to build on and learn as much as possible in FRECA. We will support him fully to help him get up to speed with the championship.”
