Leonardo Fornaroli seals Trident Motorsport deal for 2022 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine

Leonardo Fornaroli has secured a seat with Trident Motorsport for his first season in Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, completing the Italian squad’s driver trio. The 17-year-old Italian racer joins British-Polish Roman Bilinski and German Tim Tramnitz at the team.

Fornaroli arrives in the European series after having impressed in the Italian Formula 4 Championship, where he obtained the fifth place overall at the end of last season where he collected a victory, seven podiums, two pole positions and three fastest laps that gave him the role of best Italian driver in the series.
