We asked Boya to tell us a little about him.
Can you tell us where your hometown is and something interesting about where you’re from?
I came from Spain and I’m studying in Barcelona, but I’m from a small village near France where it is typical to go skiing.
How did you first become interested in motorsport?
I got into motorsport by following the deeds of Fernando Alonso, who is an idol for many Spanish guys. That’s why I decided to race with karts, and now I’m here in FRECA.
What was your family’s reaction when you decided to become a driver?
They supported me a lot especially in the beginning, when parental presence is very important…
What do you do when you’re not racing?
I really like to play sports. I play football which is also a way to spend time and have fun with friends.
What kind of music do you usually listen to?
I really like Reggaeton which is more or less a Spanish genre, but in general I like Latin songs. However, I listen to a lot of different types of music.
What is your aim for the 2022 FRECA season?
The goal is to get as high in the standings as possible by trying to get podiums and victories.
How good is the feeling with your team?
It is not a new team for me since I raced with them in Formula 4. They welcomed me very well and I will give my best to get good results.
