Marta Garcia of Iron Dames secures Pirelli Trophy following Zandvoort performance

Reigning F1 Academy champion, Marta Garcia of the Iron Dames team, has shone brightly in the recent round at Zandvoort, claiming the prestigious Pirelli Trophy. The talented Spanish driver showcased her exceptional ability to climb through the field, gaining seven positions in the first race and an impressive nine positions in the final race, after starting from the back of the grid.

Garcia’s outstanding performance over the Dutch weekend has allowed her to take the lead in the new Pirelli Racelience standings. This remarkable achievement, combined with her previous performances, demonstrates her skill, determination, and resilience, setting a high bar for the competition.

The Racelience Award, created by Pirelli, recognizes drivers who exhibit exceptional resilience and improvement during races. Points are awarded based on the difference between a driver’s starting grid position and their finishing position, rewarding those who advance the most. At the end of the season, the driver with the highest score will receive the prestigious Pirelli Wheel.
