The second Collective Test of the weekend took place in the afternoon at Imola, where Matteo De Palo (Trident) set the fastest lap with a time of 1:39.623. The Italian driver led the session ahead of Freddie Slater (Prema Racing), who followed just 0.084 seconds behind.
Enzo Deligny (R-ace GP) continued his consistent performance by setting the third-fastest time, followed by Evan Giltaire and Taito Kato (both ART Grand Prix), who completed the top five.
Pedro Clerot (Van Amersfoort Racing) placed sixth, ahead of Ean Eyckmans (RPM), who was once again the fastest among the rookies. Dion Gowda (Van Amersfoort Racing) secured eighth place, just in front of Kanato Le (ART Grand Prix) and Michael Belov (CL Motorsport), who closed the top ten.
Ruiqi Liu (Trident) and Jin Nakamura (R-ace GP) were eleventh and twelfth respectively, with Rui-Heng Yeh (RPM) in P13. Edu Robinson (G4 Racing) and Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi (Trident) followed in fourteenth and fifteenth. Zachary David (CL Motorsport), winner of the Pirelli Rising Car Award at Paul Ricard, completed the top sixteen.
The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine will return to the track tomorrow, with qualifying starting at 10:10 AM local time. The session will be streamed live on the Championship’s official YouTube channel and broadcast by all TV partners, including ACI Sport TV (channel 228 Sky).
