The operation led by Rudi Mariotto, which was selected among 12 teams by the promoter of the series, ACI Sport, will line-up two of the most promising young rookies of the series. Delli Guanti and Ferati are coming from the Italian Formula 4 Championship. The Italian, who turned 17 on the 12th of January, cruised to one win last season in F4, scoring seven more points finishes. Swissman Ferati, born on August 2nd, 2003, made his debut in single-seater in 2020 entering the Italian Championship. He also took part in one round of the Spanish F4 Championship where he scored a great top-5 finish at Circuit Paul Ricard.

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine features eight days of preseason testing, the first ones being on March 17-18 at Imola. More testing will follow at Barcelona, Le Castellet and Mugello. The series opener will be at the famous Belgian track of Spa-Francorchamps on April 25th. Teams and drivers will then move to Barcelona and Monte Carlo as a supporting act for the Formula 1 World Championship. The season will continue at Le Castellet, Zandvoort, Imola, Nurburgring, Spielberg, Mugello and Monza, home to the season finale on October 31st.
