Nicolás Baptiste Velasco is the second driver confirmed for the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season by Saintéloc Racing. 17 year-old driver from Bogotà, Colombia, made his debut in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine last year. His single-seater debut was in Spanish F.4, as soon as he turned 15. Baptiste Velasco then gained considerable experience in the Italian F.4 Championship, that he later took as main commitment in 2021.

After spending his FRECA Rookie season in two-time Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso’s Team, the young Colombian driver is now ready to take on the challenge again with Saintéloc Racing, the French Team commmitted this year  in a full programme in the Formula Regional European Championship by AlpineNicolàs Baptiste Velasco is the second driver confirmed by Sébastien Chetail‘s structure from Saint-Etienne, in the squad led by Morgan Caron.
