The Russian driver, Nikita Bedrin, who races under an Italian licence, was announced as part of the 2024 line-up for the European Formula Regional championship by the official MP Motorsport team channels. For Nikita it is a double commitment, as he will also continue to compete in Formula 3, a category in which he takes part with PHM AIX Racing.

Already last year he participated in two rounds of Formula Regional, first with Monolite Racing at Zandvoort and then with Van Amersfoort for the final weekend at Hockenheim. At the German track, he also achieved a podium finish in race 1 by coming 3rd, but as a wild card he could not take any points in the drivers' classification.

After excellent tests at Imola, Barcelona and Mugello, Bedrin will therefore be part of the MP team alongside Nikil Bohra and Valerio Rinicella.
