This morning’s qualifying session at Spa-Francorchamps was cancelled following an incident early in Group A’s run. After around 10 minutes of action, Akcel GP driver Al Maosherji went off track, spinning into the gravel before making contact with the side barrier. The driver emerged ok and was escorted from the track by marshals, but the incident required extensive repairs to the barrier, preventing the session from being resumed.
Following Decision No. 1, the Stewards have ruled that the starting grid for Race 1 will be determined by the fastest times set during Collective Test 1 on Friday, 16th May, in accordance with article 30.8 of the FRECA Sporting Regulations.

Today’s race promises to deliver thrilling action at the challenging and iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit. With its mix of high-speed sections, technical corners, and dramatic elevation changes, the Belgian track is known for shaking up the order, offering plenty of opportunities for overtaking during the 30-minute + 1 lap contest.

The race will be streamed live on the Championship’s official YouTube channel, as well as through an extensive network of international broadcasters, including Italy’s official federation channel, ACI Sport TV.
