Romain Andriolo Awarded First Racelience Award of the Year

The French driver Romain Andriolo of G4 Racing has been awarded the first Racelience Award of the year, following his outstanding performance at the season opener in Hockenheim. Andriolo’s remarkable ability to climb through the field saw him gain five positions in Race 1 and an impressive eleven positions in Race 2, totaling a gain of 16 positions. These achievements have earned him 16 points, placing him at the top of the Pirelli Racelience standings.

The Racelience Award, ideated by Pirelli, recognizes drivers who demonstrate exceptional resilience and improvement during races. Points are awarded based on the difference between a driver’s starting grid position and their finishing position, rewarding those who advance the most. At the end of the season, the driver with the highest score will receive the prestigious Pirelli Wheel.

In the first round of the season, Andriolo emerged as a key player, showcasing his skill and determination. His performance at Hockenheim has set a high bar for the Racelience Award, a new accolade created to honor drivers who demonstrate exceptional resilience and improvement during races.
