The collective testing day of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine at Spa-Francorchamps comes to an end. This morning, during the long pre-event session that lasted for 3 hours, Tim Tramnitz from R-ace GP set the fastest time of the day with a lap time of 2’14.548, followed by Kirill Smal from Monolite Racing with a gap of +0.469.
In the early afternoon, the first session of collective testing took place, lasting for 50 minutes. During this session, a duo of Prema Racing drivers set the pace, with Brazilian Rafael Camara recording the fastest lap time of 2’15.442, closely followed by his Italian teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli with a gap of 0.083. Marcus Amand, Franco-Finnish driver from ART Grand Prix, claimed the third position with a gap of 0.148. Dutch driver Kas Haverkort from Van Amersfoort Racing secured the fourth place, finishing his best lap with a gap of 0.292. Behind him, Michael Belov from G4 Racing completed the top 5, with a gap of 0.304.

Tomorrow, Thursday, June 29th, there will be another 50-minute collective test session starting at 13:00. In the evening, the first qualifying session will take place, determining the grid for Race 2. Group A will be on track from 19:20 to 19:35, followed by Group B from 19:40 to 19:55. Friday, June 30th, begins with qualifying 2, with Group B on track from 9:45 to 10:00, and Group A following from 10:05 to 10:20. The second qualifying session will determine the grid for Race 1, set to start on Friday at 14:50 for 30 minutes + 1 lap. The last race of the weekend will take place on Saturday, July 1st, at 9:30, also lasting for 30 minutes + 1 lap of intense battles.
