Saintéloc Racing announced the signing of Dutch driver Tim Gerhards for the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA) season. Gerhards, 17, transitions to FRECA after a formative year in the Spanish Formula 4 Championship, where he gained valuable experience in single-seaters.

Gerhards began his single-seater career in 2024, participating in the Formula Winter Series and the Spanish F4 Championship. His notable performances include a sixth-place finish at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, marking his best result of the season.

Saintéloc Racing, which joined the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine in 2023, has quickly established itself as a competitive force in the series. In 2024, the team made significant strides, with standout performances including Théophile Naël’s first pole position at Monza and a race victory at the Red Bull Ring. These achievements underscored the team’s rapid progression and ability to nurture emerging talents.
