Round 5 of the new Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is about to start at the 4259 meters long F1 Circuit Zandvoort, in the North of Holland – Netherlands.
33 drivers of 17 different nationalities and 5 continents are once more ready for a great long weekend of motorsports, starting already Thursday, June 17 with 2 hours of pre-event collective tests (15:30 – 17:30 CET). Friday, June 18 two 50 minutes Collective Tests sessions will take place (9:00 – 9:50 and 13:10 – 14:00). On Saturday, June 19 Qualifying 1 will start at 9:30 for 20 minutes, and the 30 minutes plus one lap Race 1 will start at 15:00. Sunday, June 20 Qualifying 2 will start at 9:30 and Race 2 at 14:30.
Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) will have to defend his leadership (110 points) in the championship from the second, Zane Maloney (R-ace GP – 87), Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP – 85), first of the Rookies, Hadrien David (R-ace GP – 81), Alex Quinn (Arden Motorsport – 78) and Paul Aron (Prema Powerteam – 72).
Léna Bühler (R-ace GP) will also be present, and as a Rookie, she will be ready to improve her performance after the first 4 rounds of experience in this championship.
