Last week the Formula 3 post-season tests took place at the Jerez circuit, where some drivers of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine were in the spotlight.
On Wednesday morning to put everyone behind was Gabriele Minì, who at the wheel of a Hitech Grand Prix single-seater, after completing 26 laps, set the best time of 1:30.500. Another driver who did well was Sebastian Montoya, eighth in the standings, in the other car of the British team. Equally fast were his team-mates, in the continental series, Paul Aron and Dino Beganovic (Prema Racing), with the latter setting the second best time in the afternoon.
Gabriel Bortoleto was also among the fastest during the three days of testing, setting a time of 1:29.554, which was the best performance on Thursday. These results bode well for the future of the Brazilian who recently made official his participation in the 2023 Formula 3 championship with the Trident. The Italian team was also able to test Leonardo Fornaroli, currently leading the rookie group in the European series.
The same attention was paid to other drivers who showed good pace on the Spanish track, such as local drivers Mari Boya (MP Motorsport) and Lorenzo Fluxa (Van Amersfoort Racing), Matias Zagazeta (Charouz Racing System), Noel Leon (Van Amersfoort Racing), Hadrien David (Carlin) and Nicola Marinangeli (Charouz Racing System).
