Among the 32 cars that took it to the track of Paul Ricard circuit today, the Italian Rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli (PREMA Racing) topped the second session and gained P2 in the combined classification keeping the gap into the hundreds of second with 0.021. His Brazilian Teammate Rafael Camara signed his fastest lap in the morning session and overall third best with +0.106.
The Dutch driver Kas Haverkort pushed his Van Amersfoort Racing car in the highest end of the first day’s classification with a gap of 0.170; followed by R-ace GP German driver Tim Tramnitz, who still managed to get extremely fast laps after bringing home the best time in the first collective test in Spain.
Martinius Stenshorne (Van Amersfoort Racing), Laurens Van Hoepen (ART Gran Prix) and Santiago Ramos (RPM) have respectively filled positions from 6 to 8, managing to maintain the gap under half a second.
Lorenzo Fluxa (PREMA Racing) and Joshua Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing) closed the top 10. The engineers and mechanics are now back to work on the set-up for the second day of testing, with the cars ready to get back to the track tomorrow (Wednesday, March 21st) at 9.00.
