Noah Strømsted sets the pace at Hockenheim morning session

This morning, the drivers of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine returned to the storied Hockenheim circuit for the penultimate Pre-Event Collective Test session.

The track was dry, allowing drivers to outperform their previous day’s efforts, which were marked by variable weather conditions including rain and clearing skies. At the close of the four-hour test window, it was Noah Strømsted in an RPM car who clocked the best time of the morning at 1’35”389. Roman Bilinski of Trident Motorsport closely contended Strømsted’s pace, finishing the session with the second-fastest time, only a scant 50 milliseconds adrift.

Claiming the third-fastest time was Brando Badoer of Van Amersfoort Racing, who edged out Nikita Bedrin of MP Motorsport. Bedrin had led the timesheets the previous day. An honorable mention goes to Costa Toparis of KIC Motorsport, who secured fifth place ahead of ART Grand Prix duo Alessandro Giusti and Evan Giltaire, the latter having set the fastest lap yesterday afternoon. Completing the top 10 were James Wharton of Prema Racing, Nikhil Bohra of MP Motorsport, and Ugo Ugochukwu also from Prema Racing.

The final session of the day is scheduled to take place this afternoon from 14:00 to 18:00.
