F4 driver Nicolás Baptiste Velasco will make his debut in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine this year after the Colombian was confirmed as FA Racing’s first driver signing for the 2022 season. The 16-year-old from Bogotá, has already tested extensively with the team fronted by double F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso, appearing in FRECA post-season tests at the Red Bull Ring, Spa, Barcelona, Paul Ricard and Mugello.
