The Italian based Team RPM announces Macéo Capietto as third entry in Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. Capietto, French driver born in 2006, is no new to the single-seater series cosigned by Alpine and ACI Sport, having debuted last year with Monolite. Looking back at the years before, after a brilliant karting carreer that included prestigious experiences such as WSK’s Euro Series and Super Master Series, Capietto battled Esteban Masson for the 2021 French F4 title, finishing second in the standings after winning four races.
The Frenchman last year scored several points both in Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine drivers standings and rookies standings, with his best result at Mugello, during 2022 exciting season finale, finishing race 1 in P7.
Now Capietto is ready to take on the challenge again, with the support of RPM Team skillfully led by Keith Donegan.
Macéo Capietto:
“It’s a privilege to be racing with such a competitive team. In their first season last year they achieved more than others could from the start of the season, showing great pace at every track with a pole and even podiums! The team is full of hard workers pushing to fight for the title and that’s definitely the target in 2023. One year to learn, one year to win!”
Keith Donegan – RPM Team Principal:
”We are very happy to welcome Macéo to RPM for this season. He is an exciting young talent and has performed very well over the winter tests so I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do together this year.”
