Saucy, Pasma and Aron are the fastest in Barcelona

The second and last day of tests for the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine on the Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya has seen the best lap times set on a dry track in the morning session, defining the overall standings on the Spanish appointment.

Grègoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) has obtained a fantastic 1:40.208, only 0.056 seconds faster than the Finn of KIC Motorsport Patrick Pasma, while third, extremely close also to the best lap time (+0.116), is Paul Aron (Prema Powerteam).

The extremely close lap times of the first 21 drivers, all within 0.900 seconds, make the challenge extremely interesting, but this is not all. Also watching the teams’ standings increases excitement as the first appointment of the season, on the Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit in Imola together with F1® approces, with six different teams occupying with their drivers the first six positions of the final classification of the two days of tests.

After Art Grand Prix, KIC Motorsport and Prema Powerteam we find, in fact, Arden Motorsport with Alex Quinn, 0.160 from the best time, R-ace GP with Isack Hadjar, the fastest of the Rookies (1:40.371), and MP Motorsport with Kas Haverkort (1:40.387), who is second among the Rookies in the two days. Third in the Rookie category is his teammate Oliver Goethe (1:40.524).

In the afternoon session, the track most probably was slower, as almost none of the drivers has managed to improve the morning bests.
