Nothing changes in the first three positions in the second collective test session at Spa-Francorchamps, as the track is much slower and Michael Belov (G4 Racing), once more the fastest, is 1.2 seconds from his best time this morning, with 2:15.777. Behind him, again, Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix – 2:15.828) and Hadrien David (R-ace GP – 2:16.034). Fourth is a confident Zane Maloney (R-ace GP – 2:16.165), coming from a difficult meeting in Zandvoort, and fifth is his teammate, the newly appointed Red Bull Junior Team, Isack Hadjar (2:16.180). Sixth is the first of the Prema Powerteam drivers and FDA driver, Dino Beganovic (2:16.199).
“The track was definitely slower, as the tyres warmed up faster reaching and going beyond the perfetct temperature, making it difficult to reach the best performance. Probably, the GT cars, running before the British F3 and us, also changed the track worsening it. The driving needed to be even more delicate and attent than this morning”, the fastest driver of the day has commented at the end of the session.
