Two-car assault at Imola with Pesce and Benavides

DR Formula is ready to rock the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine opener that takes place at Imola in the same weekend of Formula 1 Gran Premio del Made In Italy e dell’Emilia Romagna. At the 4.959-kilometer Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, the team headed by Danilo Rossi prepares a two-car assault with regular drivers Emidio Pesce and Brad Benavides.

The 19-year-old Italian racer Pesce embarks on his second season in the Tatuus-run series in which he made his debut in 2020 with DR Formula delivering a best seventh position. American Benavides, who is 19 years old too, started his single-seater career in 2018 Euroformula Open before graduating to the Formula Renault 2.0 Euro in 2019.

Both Pesce and Benavides aim to make more experience as well as to make a strong debut season right from the start.
