Hadrien David claimed pole position for race two at the Red Bull Ring. At the wheel of the R-ace GP car, the French driver emerged as the fastest in the second qualifying of the weekend, posting a best lap of 1m26.076s that no one was able to match.
The official session started with Group B on a dry track, where David lead the group ahead Owen Tangavelou for only 0.017s. Another good result for the RPM driver, who was second again in yesterday’s qualifying session.
In Group A Dino Beganovic (Prema Racing) scored the fastest time with a lap of 1m26.401s, a result that secured the front row for the Swede, just one tenth ahead Joshua Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing), who will start from the second row near Tangavelou.
Gabriel Bortoleto (R-ace GP) was third in the first group ahead Gabriele Minì (ART Grand Prix) who had a puncture that forced him to the pit lane while looking for his best performance. This afternoon the Brazilian will share the third row with Pierre-Louis Chovet (RPM), while the Italian will be on the seventh position near Dilano Van’t Hoff (MP Motorsport).
Behind them will be Joshua Durksen (Arden Motorsport) and Tim Tramnitz (Trident Motorsport) in the fifth row.
Race 2 (14.30pm) will be live streamed on official YouTube and Facebook of the series (links at formularegionaleubyalpine.com).
