Kanato Le is the fastest in the latest session at Paul Ricard

Kanato Le (G4 Racing) finished at the top of the timesheets in the last session at Paul Ricard, the venue for the second official test in preparation for the start of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season.

The Japanese driver demonstrated a strong pace this afternoon, recording the best time of the session with a 1’57”658, which allowed him to finish 69 thousandths of a second ahead of Théophile Naël (Sainteloc Racing). Barndo Badoer (Van Amersfoort Racing) once again stood out, securing the third-fastest time ahead of James Wharton (Prema Racing), who finished fourth.

The fifth-best time was set by Evan Giltaire (ART Grand Prix), who ended the session ahead of Valerio Rinicella (MP Motorsport) and Ugo Ugochukwu (Prema Racing).

Also performing well were Matteo De Palo (Sainteloc Racing), Enzo Deligny (R-ace GP), and Noah Strømsted (RPM), who completed the top 10.

The European series will fire up its engines again next week on April 24 and 25 at Hockenheim, where the first double event of the year will also take place on the weekend of May 11 and 12.
