Hadrien David (R-ace GP) conquers pole position in the Temple of Speed in Monza, with a 1’46.325, in front of the Title winner Grègoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix ), only 0.030 behind, and an extraordinary Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport), obtaining an amazing third position with such a tiny difference from the first two (0.051 and 0.021) considering the fact he had to skip FP2 due to damages to his car after the crash at the Parabolica in FP1, and his car not really being 100%. Fourth is the best of the Rookies, Gabriel Bortoleto (FA Racing), also below one-tenth of a second from pole position (0.072). The Brazilian driver is really obtaining more and more speed and performance race after race in this final part of the season. Fifth is Zane Maloney (R-ace GP), who stops the watch at 1’46.445, and who is still battling for the second and third position in the final standings of the championship. Sixth is the Rookie Andrea Rosso (1’46.456), obtaining an excellent and his best of the year. Seventh is Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP), who is first in the Rookies standings and must protect the position from Gabriele Minì (ART Grand Prix), ninth after having been slowed down by traffic. Eighth is Patrik Pasma (ART Grand Prix) and tenth is Alex Quinn (Arden Motorsport).

The first 24 drivers within less than one second in QP1 show that Monza is even more challenging and not even the tiniest mistake can be done, as it would determine the loss of a good number of positions on the grid.
“I really have the pace and the setup of the car is great, making me very confident in driving. I did not look for the toe but was lucky as I had an ART driver in front of me, far enough not to be an issue, helping me with the toe and protecting me from other drivers getting in the way. So I had the chance to attack the entire session and my laps were good, but can still be improved”, said David after the qualifying session.
