Tim Tramnitz flies in the first collective test at Red Bull Ring

Tim Tramnitz (Trident Motorsport) was quickest in the first collective test at Red Bull Ring for the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. The rain didn’t bother the German driver, who climbed the top of the times from the beginning of the session until the checkered flag.

A lap of 1m 29.470s saw him go 0.521s faster than Estonian Paul Aron (Prema Racing), who topped yesterday afternoon’s session.

Francesco Braschi finished third, showing an excellent feeling with the FA Racing single-seater between the corners of the Austrian track. The Italian driver was ahead the championship leader Dino Beganovic (Prema Racing) and Roman Bilinski (Trident Motorsport), both in the top five.

Victor Bernier (FA Racing) secured the sixth quickest time ahead of Owen Tangavelou (RPM) and Dilano Van’t Hoff (MP Motorsport), while R-ace GP duo Hadrien David and Gabriel Bortoleto completed the top 10.

The second collective test is scheduled this afternoon at 4.19 pm.
